Subject: MIME::Words: unexpected case:
Dear Sirs, The following issue exists in Mime::Tools 5.500.Platform: (Slackware Linux 12.1, kernel 2.6.35-6,PERL 5.8.8) Upon parsing mail with attachments that contain some polish (ISO-8859- 2) diacritic letters in their names (i.e. L acute or Z acute) the mimedefang-multiplexor slave dies and the mail is being rejected. Syslog entries say that the developer should be informed so I am doing so. Downgrading to 5.428 resolves the issue. MIME::Tools 5.500 is horribly broken. I recommend reverting to 5.428 until we have a chance to fix this. See also https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=65162 Regards, David.
Hello, I believe the just-released 5.501 version of MIME::tools fixes this bug. Regards, David.
