If you could provide detailed information about what part of the build
fails... I could possibly update the version required in the
Makefile.PL. This is the first I've heard about it and I'll need more
information to act on it in any way since I don't have any windows
machines I would care to put Perl on -- Windows is a gaming platform if
it's anything at all, and my game machine isn't set up as 64bit.

Overall this sounds like a bug for Net::SSLeay and/or IO::Socket::SSL;
can you tell me why this was submitted as a bug in an IMAP package?
