Hello,
Versions:
LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix 0.02
Net::HTTP::Methods 5.812
RPC::XML::Client 1.24
Perl version and uname -a information at the end of message.
I have trouble to make LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix work as expected
with RPC::XML::Client.
After seeing code in Net::HTTP::Methods::http_configure I believe that
this method need PeerAddr, PeerHost or Host option in it's arguments.
sub http_configure {
my($self, $cnf) = @_;
...
my $host = delete $cnf->{Host};
my $peer = $cnf->{PeerAddr} || $cnf->{PeerHost};
if (!$peer) {
die "No Host option provided" unless $host;
...
None of that options are specified in
LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix::_new_socket, only
Peer, Type and Timeout:
my $sock = $self->socket_class->new(
Peer => $path,
Type => SOCK_STREAM,
Timeout => $timeout
);
Test program gives me:
RPC::XML::Client::simple_request: RPC::XML::Client::send_request: HTTP
server error: No Host option provided
If I add Host => 'localhost' option to above code fragment my test
program works as expected. Is this a bug or I do something wrongly?
