Subject: | No default ERR files |
perltidy version 20101217 log file on a MSWin32 system,
OLD_PERL_VERSION=5.012002
Windows type is XP/.Net, also Windows 7 MSWin64.
Perltidy is no longer creating ERR files by default. It also fails to
log errors and warnings when running under the ‘-g’ flag. The only way
to get Perltidy to behave in the ‘supposedly’ default manner described
in the documentation is to use the ‘-it=2’ flag.
Since Perl-Critic depends on Perl-Tidy, the Perl-Critic module also
passes errors that should have been caught by default.
