Makefile.PL should use krb5-config, when available, instead of prompting the user for path information. Some modern Kerberos distributions (such as heimdal 1.1.0, for example) also require more than just -lkrb5 to link. Using krb5-config --libs and krb5-config --cflags to detect library directories, libraries to link, and include directories would be a benefit.
