Hello,
I am running a CPAN smoking bot as part of the CPAN Testers effort. I
noticed that your module actually connects to certain hosts/services to
test it's functionality. This is bad because on the smokebox it hangs
for hours and hours.
I would suggest skipping the "actual connection test" if the
AUTOMATED_TESTING env var is set. See more information here:
