I'm trying to use your perl frontend under Ubuntu
After installing all all prerequisite perl packages I run it :
~/GTM-0.6/GTM-0.6/bin# perl gtm
No protocol specified

I connected to my Ubuntu server using NX Client. And Display is :1021
ps auxw | grep 1021
