Have raw JSON available for further processing
It might be nice to have the JSON as a property of objects available to
shunt the data to a more JavaScript friendly environment.

Without immediately doubling the number of requests this would mean
switching to JSON input completely, or generating the JSON from the XML
data we already use.

Exposing the raw JSON would kind of defy the purpose of providing these
classes, and generating JSON from the objects could also be done by
anyone using the objects. So maybe if we implement using the JSON
output option for other reasons like performance anyway, we could
expose the JSON after we've validated it as an object.
