Subject: Does not work with OWA 2007
Perl version: 5.10.1 uname -a: Linux charding-laptop 2.6.32-26-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 09:00:03 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux Following the instructions on the webpage (http://search.cpan.org/~wsmith/Email-Folder-Exchange- 1.10/lib/Email/Folder/Exchange.pm) I cannot list my messages using the example script on the above page when trying to use a OWA 2007 webmail interface. I've tried different urls (https://webmail.work.com/owa, webmail.work.com/owa/auth/owaauth.dll) in the script but when the script gets to: for my $message ($folder->messages) { line, I get: 'Moved Permanently at ./owa.pl line 9', where line 9 is the above line in the script when I use the https://webmail.work.com/owa url. I tried the https://webmail.work.com/owa/auth/owaauth.dll url because in the source of the main OWA page, the form-post file is the owaauth.dll file. I've tried to look how I can switch on debugging to get more information than just 'Moved Permanently' since this script uses LWP, but haven't found an easy answer. If there is an easier way to find and attach debug information, I would like to help. Perhaps there is another url I need to use?

Hi Craig, Unfortunately, I don't have access to an OWA 2007 server to adjust the internals, so there may be an issue with the simple fact that you are using OWA 2007. Did you try including your credentials in the URL? -Warren Show quoted text

Trying to use the username and password in the url gives me Can't connect to $MYUSERNAME:$MYPASSWORD:443 (Bad hostname '$MYUSERNAME:$MYPASSWORD') at /home/charding/bin/owa.pl line 11 where $MYUSERNAME and $MYPASSWORD are my actual credentials. With regards to the above error, my password has some symbols in the password. I tried escaping them with one backslash '\'. I tried two backslashes and I get the same error. Is there something else I can supply to help you add OWA 2007 functionality (regardless of the above error)? I can figure out how to supply debugging info regarding this if it helps. I made some progress last night. Exchange 2007 [and up] do not support WebDAV [which is what Exchange 2k and 2k3 use]. I've started getting the SOAP access built into the library and hope to have some results by the weekend. -Warren Show quoted text

Awesome. I can't give you a test account as I'm just a regular user and have no admin access. If you want me to test with my account I definitely can help. I tried to insert some debug print statements in your pm to try and find out what the problem was a few days ago but it seems it wouldn't work anyways! When you update, let me know and I will try it out and post the debug from the request/response. Thanks. On Tue Jan 04 10:31:49 2011, warren@warrenandrachel.com wrote: Show quoted text

I found a free test account at microsoftonline.com. Got all the code working now, and I should have the testing and docs ready on Friday. "https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id?id=AItOawlRFiRePQTVi4YUj6c3UhfZPkggeyjyw2o via RT" <bug-Email-Folder-Exchange@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text
