I ended up reverting the -Duselongdouble setting for perl 5.12.0-2.
I've verified on amd64 that this package builds fine now.
Although this bug does not affect Debian anymore, I'm not closing it as
it's still relevant for upstream. Feel free to close it after forwarding.
