It doesn't do that for me at all. the source files get lazy loaded for a bunch of methods, 'b' included. The only thing i can think of is that your original sources where corrupt. can you try this? - go to your .cpanplus dir - throw away all *.gz and *.stored files in the root - start cpanp - set verbose (s verbose 1) - type 'b' if this still fails, send me the full output from the commands you did -- Jos Boumans "We are not far from the kind of moral decay that has brought on the fall of other nations and peoples" - Senator Barry Goldwater, 1964 CPANPLUS http://cpanplus.sf.net
