Subject: Undeclared dependencies
So far cpantesters have sent in fail reports due to missing - Test/Deep.pm - Test/Most.pm - parent.pm Would be coold if you added these dependencies to your Makefile.PL. Thanks,
Hi thank you for your bug report! I have done so, comitted to github. Should I bump the version number for this fix? or upload an altered package with the same version number? On Sat Nov 27 01:29:17 2010, ANDK wrote: Show quoted text

Interesting question. It never occurred to me to even ask this question. I'd always bump the version number, even for a typo fix. Show quoted text

Same version number would indeed make sense from the philosophical point of view. But it has a price: you would have to invent a filename for the upload. With any invention you would violate conventions. So what counts higher? I'd say conventions. It's really great to see that hardly anybody invents filenames that violate the cpan conventions. Maybe I'm missing something but I'd say, bump it. -- andreas

Ok. I've experimeted with some Git plugins which bump the version for me and uploaded a new version (0.02) to PAUSE thank you for your input. kind regards, Tim Esselens
