Subject: Hostname
I've been working with the author of Math::Image to help to resolve the problem reported at http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/a2ad3840-e615-11df-9d8f-923a99aff38a. The trouble is that I'm not 100% sure which of my machines generated the report :-( Would it be possible to include the output of "uname -a" and "hostname" (on platforms which support them) in the bug report - or perhaps I've missed something obvious and the information is in the report, in which case I could do with a (gentle) pointer to how to find out. -Nigel [ P.S. Qudos to Kevin Ryde for being a responsible and helpful author ]

That's a great suggestion. I believe Barbie and the Birmingham.pm crew are working on a portable approach to gathering system information for use in CPAN Testers reports. -- David
