Hello, I am trying to use DBI::ProxyServer module. To run the ProxyServer, I use following code - use strict; use warnings; use diagnostics; use DBI::ProxyServer; DBI::ProxyServer::main(@ARGV); When I connect to this ProxyServer, the server prints following message - Can't locate package DBI::db for @DBI::ProxyServer::db::ISA at D:/PROGRAMS/perl/site/5.13.0/lib/Net/Daemon.pm line 473 (#1) (W syntax) The @ISA array contained the name of another package that doesn't seem to exist. Can't locate package DBI::st for @DBI::ProxyServer::st::ISA at D:/PROGRAMS/perl/site/5.13.0/lib/Net/Daemon.pm line 473 (#1) Can't locate package DBI::dr for @DBI::ProxyServer::dr::ISA at D:/PROGRAMS/perl/site/5.13.0/lib/Net/Daemon.pm line 473 (#1) I am using perl 5, version 13, subversion 0 (v5.13.0) built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread. My DBI::ProxyServer version is 0.3005 and DBI version is 1.615. If I uncomment line 29 (require DBI) in ProxyServer.pm, these error / warning messages disappear. Also, if I remove "use diagnostics" from my code, the messages disappear. Thanks a lot. Regards, Manoj

Thanks for the report. There's a note in the ProxyServer.pm file that "require DBI;" is deferred until the AcceptVersion() is called "to aid threading". I don't know why, or if that's still relevant. Try adding -MDBI to the perl command line that starts the server and let me know if that works. Please also include your perl -V output. Thanks.

Yes, it works (no error / warning messages) if I start the DBI Proxy Server with -MDBI.
