As of Acrobat Reader 9 and above the positioning of barcodes no longer works. Barcodes do not display anywhere except the bottom left hand corner. When repositioned they actually become invisible. Oddly enough, reprinting the PDF via PDFCreator will correct the problem and the resulting PDF will now show the barcode. The issue only appears with Acrobat reader 9 or above. It does not occur with the reader Foxit. I'm using in OpenSuse 10.2 and AIX. with perl 5.8.8
