Subject: bug-fixing of some bugs
Hello Adam, there are 2 attachments in this mail Parse-CSV-1.01.tar.gz and Parse-CSV-1.02.tar.gz . These new versions are ready for upload. Explanation of Parse-CSV-1.01.tar.gz: - Bugfixing of methods combine, string and print (bug #35757 (larryl) - adding new method: - "fields" is a method of Text::CSV_XS (bug #31389 fields() method (MARKSTOS)) - Pod-fixes - Bug #51692 - some replacements of "CVS" with "CSV" (bug #51081) - adding tests - method fields - method string Explanation of Parse-CSV-1.02.tar.gz: - adding new methods: - "setcolnames"-method sets or gets colnames-array (better bug-fixing of bug #31389, I think) - "addcolnames"-method adds colnames at the end of the array - adding tests - method setcolnames - method addcolnames Testers of these versions are welcome! If you find a bug tell me. It would be nice, if you upload this new version or I'd like to become a co-maintainer of Parse::CSV, so I can do it by myself. I am very interested in this module, because I am planning a new module, that will use this module. Thank you in advance Uwe Sarnowski (UWES)

Hello, yesterday I noticed that adamk has fixed bug #35757 (combine(), string() and print() methods do not pass through to Text::CSV_XS) with version 1.01 2 years ago. But it is only fixed in adamk's SVN-trunk repository ( http://svn.ali.as/cpan/trunk/Parse-CSV) and it doesn't exist in the release-branch. So you can ignore my above version 1.01, that fixes the same bug. @adamk: I am still interested in becoming co-maintainer of this module. How can I get a username for your svn-repository? Uwe Sarnowski

Hi Uwe. Rather than co-maint, I'd prefer if you just hacked on the svn directly. What's your cpan id? On 7 October 2010 02:56, Uwe Sarnowski via RT <bug-Parse-CSV@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text

Fixed (although changed somewhat now) in 1.99
