dh-make-perl needs some Debian tools in order to function. AptPkg::Config is in the libapt-pkg-perl Debian package. Yes, this is not on CPAN and I am not sure what can I do about it.

Can you atleast make it that we can use the libapt-pkg-perl with our perlbrew installs? Because I can install libapt-pkg-perl, but in perlbrew I can't detect the modules. So I am stuck again. Regards, Kartik Thakore On Mon, 2010-09-20 at 11:36 -0400, dam+cpan@ktnx.net via RT wrote: Show quoted text

How can I do that? Maintaining a copy of libapt-pkg-perl in CPAN is something I am not interested in. Besides, I guess it would still require some Debian (i.e. not available on CPAN) stuff. Show quoted text

Can you make perlbrew use system-wide module directories (e.g. /usr/share/perl5 and /usr/lib/perl5)? Perhaps as a last resort?
