Subject: Doesn't find ssl libraries on Haiku
The installation procedure doesn't find the SSL libraries on Haiku (and most likely therefore also on BeOS) because it doesn't look in /boot/common/ssl. It is true that one can overwrite that manually, but since that is the default place on those systems, Crypt:SSLeay should look there.

Agreed. Thank you for reporting this. Are there any other standard locations on Haiku or BeOS? Fix will be in 0.58_01 due out next week. I would appreciate it if you could test it again at that time. -- Sinan

Thank you for your reply. I am not aware of any other locations for the libraries. I will test once the new version is out.
Please take a look at 0.59_01 available at <http://search.cpan.org/~nanis/Crypt-SSLeay/> to see if it resolves this issue. Thank you for your patience. -- Sinan
