Hello there,
referring to HTML-Template-2.9.
Built on current Debian GNU/Linux "Sid" (amd64).
Building the manpage via
| perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=vendor
| make
it contains at the end:
| .SH "POD ERRORS"
| .IX Header "POD ERRORS"
| Hey! \fBThe above document had some coding errors, which are explained below:\fR

| .IX Item "Around line 905:"
| =back doesn't take any parameters, but you said =back 4
According to http://perldoc.perl.org/perlpod.html =back indeed doesn't take any
parameters. For the sake of completeness, a patch fixing this is attached.
