Subject: how to find out which loop POE is using
From: Martijn van Beers <martijn [...] eekeek.org>
Hi, I was hoping for a way to find out which POE::Loop subclass POE is using. It seems there was a POE::Kernel::POE_LOOP() subroutine in at least 0.25, but that seems to be gone at least in CVS. On irc, sungo agreed with me that it'd be nice to have this information available, and asked me to file this bug report
this functionality will be added back in as part of the POE::API::Ctl project. i'm linking that ticket (#6041) into this one as a dependency.
resolved in POE::API::Peek-1.0801. see the which_loop method.
