ERROR: perl: Version 5.012001 is installed, but we need version >= 5.1 at inc/Module/Install/Makefile.pm line 172. The author of this package does not understand how Perl versions are stored internally. There is no version "5.100.0" or greater.

Changed perl_version in Makefile.PL to '5.010_000'. This should fix it. New version uploaded.
