Subject: Cannot Install with PPM
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, and I have ActiveState Perl installed. I open the PPM GUI and search for this package, but it is not found. I can't find any version of Lingua-EN-NamedEntity. It is beyond difficult to install this manually on a Windows box. I would really like to use it, it sounds very promising.
Dear Michael, Unfortunately the PPM format is property of Active State, and the modules present on the PPM GUI are chosen by them, and the packages converted by them. Therefore, I can't help much on that. But if you decide to try to install it by hand, I can try to help. Finally, in the last times I have been suggesting ActiveState Perl users to switch to Strawberry Perl, that is supported by the community and have better support to install modules.
