Subject: Implement a queue
It would be nice if metabase-relayd had retransmission system. My internet connection went down this afternoon when I was out and some results of my smoker were therefore lost. The debugger says: <html> <HEAD><TITLE>Error: Internal Server Error</TITLE></HEAD> <BODY><H1>Error: Internal Server Error</H1> Cannot connect to metabase.cpantesters.org:443 (connect error 113: no route to host) <small>This is a client error, not a server error.</small> </BODY> </HTML> It would have been nice if the items were queued and submitted when my connection came back on-line.

Erm, it does has a queue. And it does do retransmission. It may be an idea to set 'multiple=1' in your metabase-relayd configuration file. I found this was a better option with fluctuating network connections ( I am on ADSL that very often disappears for periods overnight ). Nothing appeared in the "debug" output, so I assumed it wasn't sent. Is my assumption correct, or should the "debug" output be beefed up a bit? Show quoted text

It is already set to 1(because that is what is set to in your example on your [excellent] blog page). Show quoted text
