Subject: | Configuration files containing only comments cause an error |
My perl program has some built-in defaults which can be superceded by
its configuration file (quite usual setup, I guess). So if users want to
have all parameters "by-default", they have to comment out everything in
the configuration file or remove the configuration file.
The second option can be checked easily in the perl code, but the first
one should be handled by config-simple. The problem is that
config-simple doesn't allow you to have a configuration file with only
comments inside it : you get an error message from config-simple.
Support for empty files (or files containing only comments) should be
added to config-simple in my opinion.
