Hi George, I'm sorry but I'm not maintaining that script since long. I had
no feedback in all this time by people using it (actually only once long
time ago).
I'm not working with NOAA data any more but they have probably discontinued
that service for a more modern one.
let me know if you feel like updating that script and become the maintainer.
