Subject: vnccapture captures an initial blank image
Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2010 13:48:39 -0500

It seems that the first image or two of a set are saved blank. I was going to patch this bug, but my perl abilities are non-existent and lmlib2 only has a pixel by pixel read function. The plan was to make a while loop that would check the canvas data of the image for a value other than zero (black). If it found something other than black, we would assume there's an image worth keeping and save that. This inital blank screen a known problem with certain VNC servers though. There's an older competing product that does the same here: http://vncsnapshot.sourceforge.net/ they use a command-line switch '-ignoreblank' to ensure they save something useful before moving on. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5053 (20100423) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
