Bug #56452 for Shipwright: uninitialized value in substitution during CPAN import

When importing a directory for a Perl package under Module::Install packaging, I get warnings like this one: Use of uninitialized value $version in substitution (s///) at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/Shipwright/Source/Base.pm line 433. I am attaching the Makefile.PL for the package in question and the full import log.
