The distribution is not installable anymore with perl 5.12.0. The error message while running Makefile.PL is: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Invalid version format (version required) at /usr/perl-5.12.0-RC0/lib/5.12.0/ExtUtils/MakeMaker.pm line 467. --------------------------------------------------------------------- There were some changes regarding version numbers in perl 5.12.0.
