Subject: Strawberry 5.12.0-RC - relocation & cpan index
Hi,

1/ I have taken 64bit strawberry 5.12.0-RC - ZIP
2/ I have relocate it to custom dir - d:\strawberry64 - via relocation.pl
3/ It seems that cpan index is not updating properly

Test case:
1/ if I try to install e.g. Variable::Magic - it starts downloading version 0.40 (the latest is 0.41 / 15 Mar 2010)
2/ OK, so I run: cpan> reload index
3/ if I try again to install e.g. Variable::Magic - it starts again downloading version 0.40

I do not know where is the problem but it seems that I am not able to convince cpan client to update index.

The same problem with both 32/64bit versions

This was caused by not properly working cpan mirror to which cpan.strawberryperl.com was pointing to.

Discussed with curtis by e-mail.

Now seems to work.
