Subject: perl 5.12.0: "Bizarre copy"
The test suite fails with newer perls with a bizarre error message: # expecting: Regexp ((?-xism:Incompatible packed string)) # found: Bizarre copy of CODE in sassign at /usr/perl-5.12.0-RC0/lib/5.12.0/Carp.pm line 95. Regards, Slaven

The cpantesters network does not seem to be having an issue with this module on newer perls -- http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Crypt-Util+0.11 -- so this looks like a Carp incompatibility that has since been fixed. closing -- please reopen with more details (what version of Carp, Crypt::Util, perl etc) if still an issue.
