Subject: DBD::DB2 in strawberry with gcc compiler
Please accept this patch for strawberry perl installation: http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.win32.vanilla/2010/03/msg212.html
Hi Kartik, Thanks for the patch. People using Strawberry Perl could feel free to use this patch (Will keep the defect Open for references). Given that Strawberry Perl is not supported currently, by the DBD-DB2 driver, we will not be including the patch as part of the official release. Will surely consider this is in future when Strawberry Perl is supported. -- Thanks Praveen IBM OpenSource Application Development Team India Software Labs, Bangalore (India)

Hi Praveen, Any clue on when DBD::DB2 will be supporting Strawberry officially? Also is there a roadmap somewhere for DBD::DB2? Regards, Kartik Thakore On 2010-04-16, at 1:59 AM, "IBM OpenDev via RT" <bug-DBD- DB2@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text

Hi Kartik, Currently this is not on our cards. Might be we could consider it in the future. Show quoted text

If you are looking at any external link, where you could check for the roadmap, there is no link explicitly specifying the Roadmap. However, you could use this bug tracking system itself to check for any possible new updates that would make in to the next releases, etc. -- Thanks Praveen IBM OpenSource Application Development Team India Software Labs, Bangalore (India)
