Subject: No Makefile.PL for JBrowseEntry
JBrowseEntry has no Makefile.PL in its distribution, so it is not possible to use an automatic installer like CPAN.pm. Regards, Slaven

Does now! Sorry - it was just a single file & I had not bothered to read up on MakeMaker, but I have now. It also includes a test program (JBrowseTest.pl), (make test), and should now be installable via the usual drill (perl Makefile.PL; make; make test; sudo make install). The new name (following the convention is prefixed with "Tk-") is (Tk-JBrowseEntry-4.50.tar). It should now be making it's way onto CPAN. I now plan to do the same with LoadHtml and JFileDialog. It is my hope that these widgets can eventually become part of the Tk distribution. Enjoy! Jim

It is more likely that missing functionality is added to existing widgets than to include new ones. Please check if the newest BrowseEntry from the Tk-804.025 distribution has everything you need. Tk::JFileDialog is more similar to Tk::FileDialog than to the file dialogs in the Tk distribution, so it should merge with this module. Regards, Slaven
