Subject: Synopsis does not yield graph
The code listed in the synopsis section of the documentation does not create a model graph. Expected is code that details simple method to create a simple graph (bar, line, etc).
I just tested the synopsis locally and it produced a graph fine. Can you elaborate on what is happening?

Neither does the line.pl code at github/line. Problem with my environment maybe? Running perl-5.10.0 on RHEL 5.4 (compiled by hand).
Is it producing an empty image/pdf? If so, that's likely a problem with fontconfig (or something else in the chain). I've had reports of that before...

Yes, empty image (see attached). Show quoted text

Do you happen to know what was done to correct the previous reports? I like the simplicity and outputted graphs of this module but don't have time to hunt down problems with all the dependencies for my project... Thanks for your help! BTW, I'm building perl-5.10.1 right now. We'll see if there are any changes.

I seem to remember it being fontconfig related (make sure it's installed and up-to date and, if you compiled Cairo et al that they know where it is) but I have no other information.
This is definitely a system issue, I just helped someone with a similar problem on RedHat. They updated some dependency RPMs and things worked.
Closing due to lack of response.
