You need to say in the documentation how you apply the trait. I don't think applying a request trait is at all obvious, and in any case it can't hurt.

You need to read the documentation. It's right there in the synopsis. http://search.cpan.org/dist/Catalyst-TraitFor-Request-XMLHttpRequest/lib/Catalyst/TraitFor/Request/XMLHttpRequest.pm#SYNOPSIS If you think that documentation isn't clear enough, I'm open to suggestions and patches on how to make it better.
