Options symbols are undergoing a change. Symbols formerly looking like this:
VAAMT
Now look like this:
VAA110122P00200000
Formerly, I would append .X to options symbols to receive a quote using Finance::Quote:
VAAMT.X
This no longer works. The new symbols do not work either.
Both the .X format and the new symbols currently work on Yahoo Finance (in case that is how Finance::Quote gets its data).
