Subject: Old reports not available anymore
It seems that many older reports are not available via the NNTP interface: $ ctgetreports --transport=nntp Tk-804.028 ... NNTP-Server did not return an article for id[6395939] at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/CPAN/Testers/ParseReport.pm line 390. They are even not available via the HTTP transport: $ ctgetreports --transport=http Tk-804.028 HTTP Server Error[500 Internal Server Error] for id[6395939] at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/CPAN/Testers/ParseReport.pm line 390. It seems that the URL http://www.cpantesters.org/show is used for the HTTP transport, but there's also another URL http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report which provides *all* reports. So my suggestion is to switch from nntp to http transport as the default, and to use the new URL. Maybe parsing has to be adjusted, too (or you use the "RAW" version). Regards, Slaven
I was told this would repair itself after a while, it's just a temporary failure resulting from http://log.perl.org/ topic rainy day outage

Yeah - they're the last thing we have to put back in place I believe. "Coming soon!" - ask
