Subject: | Prerequisite section reports for YAML Have = 0 |
I find four FAIL reports irritating sent out by CPANPLUS 0.9001: all
four report that there was YAML version 0 installed. But I cannot
remember that a YAML version 0 ever existed. The prereq declaration
demands 0 and the reporting line has a leading '!' to indicate the thing
is not fulfilled. So if it was not fulfilled the report should have been
discarded and not sent. But since it was sent, maybe some other part of
CPANPLUS considered 0 >= 0 and went on to run the test. Sorry that I'm
speculating, I'm mainly trying to explain my perception.
Any idea what might have been going on?
