See this cpantesters report http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.testers/2010/01/msg6643353.html On other attempt with CPAN shell, parldyn.exe was copied correctly, make failed on parl.exe. When building manually, I get error that entry point to "Perl_croak_xs_usage" is not found in IO.dll. Similar error was reported by other cpan tester: http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.testers/2009/12/msg6544482.html There are at least 500MB free on my drive C. -- Alexandr Ciornii, http://chorny.net

From the symptoms it looks like mixing different Perl versions. Anyway, PAR::Packer (and Strawberry) are too far along. Feel free to open a new ticket if this still happens with latest PAR::packer (1.005). Cheers, Roderich
