Of course. It's OpenSuse 11.1 (Linux version 2.6.31.8-0.1-default). Compiled as part of Alien:wxWidgets (tried 0.47, 0.48, 0.50) with simple ./configure, make, make install.

And after that you cleaned and reinstalled A::wx, right? Any particular reason why you didn't let A::wx install wx itself? Regards, Mattia

That's how I started it. All the other attempts come from trying to solve that problem. If you run Build.PL from the command line, it will ask you if you want to build wxWidgets or not.

Removing all installed wxWidgets code and installing Alien::wxWidgets by hand did the trick. Thanks a lot for the help.
