Sorry hit submit by mistake the first time around. Uname: Linux transformer 2.4.21-166-default #1 Wed Jan 7 03:10:21 UTC 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Perl Version: This is perl, v5.8.1 built for i586-linux-thread-multi Here's the error message: --(0)> perl Makefile.PL /usr/bin/perl Build.PL Checking whether your kit is complete... Looks good Creating new 'Build' script for 'DateTime-Locale' version '0.7' Can't call method "find_perl_interpreter" on an undefined value at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/Module/Build/Compat.pm line 150. The same message happens on Xandros distribution with perl 5.8.0. However, the makefile and Build are getting created. The error simply prevents automatic installation via CPAN.pm. If I continue on by hand with ./Build and ./Build install. The modules are getting installed and function properly. The build process is just not happening cleanly. Also using force from within CPAN.pm is also failing.

The problem here is Module::Build 0.23, not my code. I'm going to kill Kenny! -dave /*======================= House Absolute Consulting www.houseabsolute.com =======================*/
