Subject: Makefile.PL not on pari with Build.PL
While doing statistical analysis over cpantesters results I discovered that users of your Makefile.PL mostly deliver FAIL while users of the Build.PL deliver PASS. You Build.PL states the dependency is DateTime::TimeZone 1.04 and your Makefile.PL tells it is 0.87. This is not all there is. The Makefile.PL solution seems not to work. The Map.pm file produced into the lib/.../ directory does not get copied over to the blib directory. I do not recall how exactly this would work on MakeMaker. I suggest you simply discard the Makefile.PL. HTH, Regards,

Are those analysis publicly available? Show quoted text

It looks like the files generated by PL_FILES are not processed in the same way as the bundled files. I'll report that to EUMM. Show quoted text

I will do that. Thanks. -- Olivier Mengué - http://o.mengue.free.fr/

Not yet in the format that I have at home. There's already published code in CPAN-Testers-ParseReport that lets you produce the same data without my current webpage formatting. Plenty of reasons prevent a public appearance but I hope to have something usable running in a few weeks or months. Show quoted text

Thanks a lot, I'm always glad when these investigations directly or inderectly lead to improvements. -- andreas

I opened bug #51645 and will create the test case. -- Olivier Mengué - http://o.mengue.free.fr/
