Subject: Portable - Oct2009-beta2 - cpan does not work

kmx: This is a side-effect of RT#50062, it looks like. (the Portable stuff got put into the perl/vendor that is not shifted.) I'm trying a patch that MIGHT fix the problem. If so, I'll fix a few other bugs and release a beta3 of portable only in short order.

OK, before beta3 we should probably fix also portableshell.bat discussed here http://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=49948#txn-670170 If you agree with proposed change in #49948 I can change it and commit to SVN - kmx
