Not entirely sure this is a "bug" per se, but when trying to install Modern::Perl on my shared hosting account at Joyent -- either with CPAN configured to install modules locally, _or_ using local::lib -- I get the following error: Do not have write permissions on '/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.0' I can easily / successfully install other CPAN modules, but not Modern::Perl. (I'm able to install Modern::Perl locally without any, which is great, but I'm struggling with how to do this on a typical "shared hosting" account.)

Noticed that the following arguments hadn't been set (or got reset?): makepl_arg mbuild_install_arg mbuildpl_arg I set each of those to something useful and away things went. Sorry for the noise! :-) Phillip.
