The Net-IRC-0.76 is marked as an ** UNAUTHORIZED RELEASE ** at search.cpan.org. This also means that Net::IRC in the 0.76 distribution was not indexed by PAUSE, and a user trying to install Net::IRC via CPAN/CPANPLUS will still get the old version 0.75 without the deprecation warning.
