Hello:
I am reporting a potential bug with the module, Finance::Math::IRR (version 0.10).
I was comparing the XIRR returned by this module with result from Microsoft Excel's XIRR function.
In many cases they are the same. However, I found one case in which the XIRR differ significantly.
In the attached case I found, the Excel XIRR gives 2.323% but the
Finance::Math::IRR module yields 2.961%.
I would appreciate hearing any comments you might have.
Attached is the perl script and Excel spreadsheet operating on the same data.
I ran the perl script on Windows PC (Windows XP operating system) using Active Perl.
Thanks.
Kam
