Subject: UNIVERSAL::can generates warning about can being called as a function, not a method
When running with version 1.12 (and up) of UNIVERSAL::can() the following warning is generated: Called UNIVERSAL::can() as a function, not a method at [...]/DateTime/Locale.pm line 298 Depending on the application there can be quite a few warnings generated as a result.

This is a bug in UNIVERSAL::can, I'm afraid. Look at the line in question. This may be fixed in a newer release of that module, I'm not sure. I'm going to close this ticket. Please don't reply directly to it, as that will cause it to be re-opened. Thanks, -dave
