Subject: Module installed in different directory than v3.8
Module::Pluggable v3.9 was installed in a different location than v3.8 under Mac OS X (current latest 10.5.x). The location of v3.8 was /opt/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Module/Pluggable* and the new was /opt/local/lib/perl5/5.8.9/darwin-2level/Module/Pluggable* Because of this, my perl from macports found the old one before the new one and cpan always tried to install Module::Pluggable again.

I've switch to Module::Build which should fix the problem I hope. Can you test? https://github.com/simonwistow/Module-Pluggable/
Unfortunately I have a completely different setup right now so I'm unable to test that. Upgrading seemed to work since then, my Module::Pluggable is already up-to-date.
Changed status back to "patched" — sorry!
Released as 4.1 - fingers crossed it does the right thing.
