Mail-IspMailGate-1.1013.tar.gz Perl version: n/a Ubuntu Linux When attempting to download CPAN modules, I found that corporate firewalls will locate the EICAR test virus within the .tar.gz file being downloaded and block the entire archive. [Now my network administrators think they have massive "eicar infection" on their hands!] It would prevent a lot of trouble if the test virus files in the archive were obfuscated in a way that would prevent them from being seen, probably by unpacking them into a text format from which they could be readily pack-ed back together.
