Here's the current value of $SF_PROXY: $SF_PROXY = 'https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/8.0'; However, the current Salesforce docs recommend a different value: https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/16.0 That's from: http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api/Content/implementation_considerations.htm
