Hello,
in case e.g. the description of the generated gpx file contains html entities (german umlaut, ", &, ...) with the actual version this will be encoded twice. First via encode_entities and then again the resulting & with encode_entities_numeric. That's somehow wrong.
Changing the following line in the module Gpx.pm solves the problem:
orig: use HTML::Entities qw( encode_entities encode_entities_numeric );
new: use HTML::Entities qw( encode_entities_numeric );
because you use numeric encoding only, there is no need for "encode_entities".
Please verify the problem and correct if possible.
